"Every soldier carries a knife, and the knife is the basic survival tool that a soldier has when in a Survival situation. We were so tired of the B.S. Jujitsu training and Modern Army Combatives that was then starting to take foothold in the Army. Combat is not the sport of Mixed Martial Arts!"
- (Curtiss)
The book was written in a easy to read and follow format and mainly focuses on the development of a "Warrior mindset". The author states in the book that, "it is not important weather the reader follow the techniques to an exact; because it is the principles behind the techniques that really count." Thus the subtitle: Principles Of Destruction. Combat Application Techniques: Principles Of Destruction was written for the novice in mind and yet is still an excellent read for those who are experts in the field of martial arts. The material presented with in is for a mature audience and is a little too brutal for minors to read. So if you are truly dedicated to learning the Military Combat arts or Martial Arts in a warrior aspect this is a book you won't want to pass up. The Fayetteville Observer Editor calls this, "A book you'll have to fight for"; and, "Fighting words!"
